Cloud Puppy is a colorful and fun graphic novel about two best friends extremely excited to go to their first comic book convention. One is a puppy and a cloud, and the other is an unicorn bear ! Yes ! Kelly Leigh Miller’s world is extravagant and kawaii, full of incredible and magically cute creatures.
Cloud Puppy and Berry Rose are BFF and do absolutely everything together ! But most of all, they are both really fans of the Pretty Princess Warrior Dragonetta series. Of course they decide to go meet the author at the comic book convention, with the grandiose idea to wear costumes of their favorite heroine. Things get darker when they realize they have the same idea, and their friendship seems broken for good.
Cloud Puppy is a sweet and refreshing read about friendship and a celebration of teamwork. Children and adults will enjoy it alike, especially thanks to all the Easter eggs hidden in the story. Kelly Leigh Miller is certainly herself a fan of manga and graphic novels and you can feel it in her story.
